I released my debut novel, Shades and Shadows, in January 2005. It is a book that I started as a hobby over fifteen years ago. As an avid reader, I was inspired by many of the great romantic writers, and was convinced I could write a story that was as engrossing and enjoyable. Shades and Shadows is that story, and has received wide-spread positive reviews. The Romantic Times chose Shades and Shadows as a Top Pick for January 2005, and rated it with 4.5 stars (out of five).

I have since released another 8 contemporary romance novels for Dafina, all with rave reviews and critical acclaim. They are available world-wide through major stores or on-line book retailers.

I was born in Morgan's Pass, Clarendon, Jamaica and immigrated with my family to Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1974. I attended Claude Watson School for the Arts and studied dance, art and drama. I then went to the University of Toronto where I graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology. I now live in Burlington, Ontario with my young daughters, Sierra and Naima.
In 2003, I was accepted by Sha-Shana Crichton of Crichton and Associates Literary Agents. In early 2004, I signed my first book deal with Kensington Publishing/Dafina. I am currently working on a new series of novels under the name Raven Scott, the first of which was just released August 2015.
